PC Medic’s My Programs tool allows you to review what programs are installed on your computer. Many programs come pre-installed at the factory or get installed by other applications. By removing unwanted programs or software you no longer need, you can save disk space and help speed PC performance. We recommend that you periodically review My Programs to see suggestions and identify software you don’t use.
Using My Programs
Please be careful when uninstalling programs. Don’t automatically uninstall something just because you don’t know what it is – it may be important system software. Look for items you recognize and read the suggestions and publisher descriptions before uninstalling.
To uninstall a program, simply select it from the list of programs and click the “Uninstall” button.
What are Microsoft Updates & Hotfixes…
We automatically hide common Microsoft Updates & Hotfixes. In general, these are items installed by Microsoft’s automated Windows Update. These can include important bug fixes and patches for security risks.
